My name is Emmie, although my foster Mom sometimes calls me Lola Long Legs because of my long body and gazelle-like legs. I am a 1

year old Bichon/Poodle mix and I am 16 pounds of grace and elegance. They had to shave my coat off (I was a mess), but my new coat is very soft & silky and I will be absolutely beautiful once my fur grows back.
I love playing with my foster brother and Ive made some new doggie friends that I like to take walks with. Because I like to play so much, I should be in a home where there is another dog or someone who can give me lots of attention. When Im not playing, I love to cuddle up next to my foster Mom and fall asleep. I like it when she rubs my belly and tells me what a sweet little girl I am
My foster Mom said I am very, very smart and she was surprised to see how quickly I adapted to our home routine. I am housetrained (at my foster home) and I have been super good about waiting to go outside. I walk great on a leash and I always hurry up and do my business so I can rush back into the house (its COLD outside!!).
Although I really like my foster home in Illinois, my foster Mom says she is going to find me a forever home with someone who will love and adore me. Are you that person? I can hardly wait to meet you. I know you will love me.
Children in the home need to be at least 10. Emmie needs another dog in the home or someone home most of the time. Shes located in IL
